Cohort one launches Saturday 17 October 2026. Limited spaces are available, and applications close when they are filled.

Apply online

One form, about ten minutes. Student details, contact details, and two short written answers — why they want to join, and a question about faith they have never had a satisfying answer to. Nothing medical is asked at this stage.

We read every application

We are looking for willingness to think, not prior knowledge. You will hear from us by email either way, usually within two weeks.

Accept the offer and pay

If a place is offered, the offer email carries a secure payment link. Accept the offer and pay the £350 fee in full through that link — payment is by card and we never see or hold card details. The offer is open for seven calendar days from the date of the offer email. If it is not paid in that time the offer is withdrawn and the place is released to the waiting list.

Complete the enrolment pack

A second, shorter form: the programme agreement, the photography choice, who programme correspondence should go to, and the data protection acknowledgement. Like the application, it can be completed by the student or by a parent or guardian.

The Student Handbook, Portfolio binder and Parent Brochure are given out in person on the day. The programme runs from there through to the last session on 1 May 2027.

Graduation comes at the end of Year Two, at the Al-Mahdi Institute annual ceremony.

Before you apply

Worth knowing

No prior study is assumed. What is required is a willingness to think seriously and to turn up.
Attendance matters. The programme builds week on week. Missing sessions creates gaps that are hard to recover, and no refund is made for sessions not attended.
Photography is genuinely optional. A family that declines images still enrols, and nothing else changes.
Medical details are taken on paper, in person. Nothing about health is asked online at any stage. The form is completed at the welcome day and kept at the Institute.
